Tension In Kano Over Rumors President Jonathan Has Reversed Sanusi’s Appointment As Emir

undefined
Kano Crowd last night awaiting nullification of Sanusi Lamido's appointment by President Goodluck Jonathan
There was an atmosphere of tension today in the ancient city of Kano as rumors spread that President Goodluck Jonathan has decided to arrest newly installed Emir Of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, thus effectively reversing the decision of Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso who picked Sanusi for the throne.

A section of Kano indigenes who are displeased by the governor’s decision went wild with jubilation tonight as rumors spread through the city that Mr. Jonathan had finalized plans to remove the new traditional ruler and detain him. Mr. Sanusi, the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, is deemed as a political foe of President Jonathan. The two men disagreed over whether billions of dollars in oil export earnings had been stolen. Mr. Jonathan suspended Mr. Sanusi from the CBN after the nation’s banker accused officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) of failing to deposit oil revenues worth more than $20 billion in the Central Bank.

500,000 Iraqi civilians flee Mosul fighting, migration group says

Watch this video

More than 500,000 citizens fled in fear as extremist militants overran Iraq's second-largest city, Mosul, the International Organization for Migration said Wednesday.
The group, whose teams have been monitoring the plight of those caught in the onslaught, said the violence had resulted in "a high number of casualties among civilians."
The northern city's four main hospitals are inaccessible because of fighting, and some mosques have been converted for use as clinics, the IOM said.
Those fleeing the fighting, in vehicles or on foot, some bringing only what they can carry in plastic bags, are heading to the city's east or seeking sanctuary elsewhere in Nineveh province or in Iraq's Kurdish region.

Top 10 female fantasies revealed

black-woman-happy
Women wonder what it would be like to be in a man’s shoes. Or more precisely put, they wonder what it would be like to be in a man’s boxers. They dream about stories where they could wear his long trench coat and a cap with nothing inside and take the man in the front or back.
The sweet damsels are more on the dreamy and romantic side of things, but they do have their own share of sexual fantasies for women.
And quite surprisingly, the top female fantasies are not very different from what men want in bed.
If men and women share similar interests in sexual fantasies, why do we really have to hide it and pretend like we’re all clean as a whistle.
After asking a lot of women, and of course, through my own personal experience, here are the top ten sexual fantasies for women.
Women may say what they want, but most women at least indulge in a few of these fantasies, if not all.
I’m really confused about a lesbian fantasy which many girls think is a hot one, but a few others were totally against it. But what the hell, I like it, so here goes the top fantasies for women.

Revealed: The Real Reason Why Sanusi Has Not Yet Gained Access To The #Emir's Palac

The new Emir of Kano is said to be operating outside of the palace due to certain normal arrangements which often precedes the grand entry of any Emir into the palace.
New Emir, Lamido Sanusi

According to PREMIUM TIMES report, a source familiar with the workings of the emirate council disclosed that it took sometime for most of the emirs in the past, including the immediate past, Ado Bayero who died last week, before they went into the palace.
The source said, "Traditionally, a new emir does not even go into the palace through the front door. Rather, he chooses within the wall of the palace a specific location in which he wants to use to enter the palace. That portion of the wall is then opened for him to enter.
"If you notice towards the western end, along Yola road, you will see an opening that is covered with concrete block, that was the door Ado Bayero used when he was appointed as emir."

Signs that your relationship is ‘dead & gone’

Read the warning signs to find out whether your relationship has a future or not. 1. Sex is the only thing you connect on You are lucky to be having great sex and crackling chemistry. But if what happens after the clothes come off is the only thing you have in common with your man, the liaison may be missing an important factor of all relationships – a deep level of intimacy. 2. The future is not a priority for him He wants to live in the moment and avoids talking about the future. Making plans for the future is a sign of commitment. Relationship gurus say this attitude translates into what could only be a short-term affair. 3. He doesn’t take time out for you He puts his work, friends and family first, postpones or turns up terribly late for dates, doesn’t return missed calls, and almost never replies to your ‘I miss you’ messages. A relationship needs nourishment through affection and ‘we time’. However, if you are not a priority for him, it could lead to disenchantment and resentment. If he spends more time partying till late morning with his respective friends alone than hanging out with you, it’s a sure sign that your little liaison is going nowhere. 4. You don’t have a life of your own You are always waiting around for his attention. You have stopped going for lunch or shopping sprees with your own friends, and are more interested in his hobbies than yours. This makes you come across as a needy person. Guys are attracted to women who are confident in their own skin and have full, busy lives. Don’t be unavailable to him, but give him some incentive to get serious about you. 5. You steer clear of fights It’s okay to be polite but arguments and fights are actually healthy for a relationship to prosper. Your connection won’t get real unless you express your true feelings and discuss the issues that are bothering you. You’re afraid to scare him off the romantic association, so you try to give him the impression that you are okay with his every lapse. It puts him in an undue position of power that he may not deserve. Be true to yourself and come clean. If he doesn’t want to change his stance and calls it off, you didn’t have much to lose anyway.

Messi is already a legend without winning the World Cup – Ronaldo

Messi Argentina
Brazil legend Ronaldo, has insisted that Lionel Messi is already a football legend, despite the fact the Argentina captain has never won the World Cup.
The Barcelona forward has already won four Ballon d’Or prizes and every club honour with the La Liga side and has been hailed as one of the greatest players of all time.
However, some critics feel that the 26-year-old needs to achieve international success with Argentina, before he can claim his place among the real greats of football – a fact that Ronaldo disagrees with.
“He can win that [the World Cup]. He has not retired yet, has he? And he is only 26,” Ronaldo told The Times of India.    continue.....

Buhari writes Sanusi on terrorism

Former Head of State, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd),
A former Head of State, who is also a national leader of the All Progressives Party, Maj-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) on Monday wrote the new Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, asking the monarch to support the Federal Government’s war against terrorism in the country.
Buhari, in a congratulatory letter he personally signed and a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Kaduna, urged the new emir to bring to bear his wealth of experience in assisting the economic revival of the state and the country as a whole.
The former military leader, who was also a presidential candidate of the defunct Congress of Progressive Change in the 2011 presidential election, reminded the former CBN boss to fear God and to treat the people of Kano with justice and fairness, saying his choice as the emir was purely an act of God.
Buhari said, “You should cultivate all and exclude none. After attending the burial of the late emir, Alhaji Ado Bayero, I am renewing my condolences to the new emir, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and the people of Kano and the country on the death of Alhaji Ado Bayero.
“I am forwarding my congratulations to you for assuming the office of emir of this historic land, a position once occupied by great historical figures such as Muhammadu Rumfa, Ibrahim Dabo, Abdullahi Bayero and Muhammadu Sanusi. I hope you will be a worthy successor to those great men.”

THE POWER OF A WOMAN (A MUST READ)

Women are a precious gift from God but there
are
some things that all men need to know.
Women are by far the deeper and more powerful
of
the two sexes. No matter how strong a man
thinks
he is, he is like butter in the hands of a woman
that
he loves.
It is only a woman that can carry a child for nine
months and raise that child to adulthood and yet
until the day that that woman dies only she will
know the real father of that child.
Women are more discerning than men, more
calculating, more thoughtful, more spiritual,
