Its not a comfortable topic to discuss because I wouldn't want to put anybody under pressure. As long as my family is happy and I'm on the same page with my wife, my siblings, my mum, my pastor and the family of my daughter, that's all that actually matters.
When did you have the child?

I got a call on Wednesday morning from one of our popular female artistes asking if she could be a guest on my radio show to promote her new album that is meant for release this month. I said, “Why not? It will be my privilege to have you on my show.” As we talked on, I tried chipping in a little advice that it might not be a good idea releasing an album in the middle of an ebola crisis; suggesting that right now people might be too worried and preoccupied with the ebola scare to care about a new album. I told her she would stand the risk of being branded insensitive for dropping her album at a time the country is having a crisis of some sort. I went on thinking I could convince her to postpone the album release to a time when she can easily get people’s attention. But she wouldn’t hear of it.

NMA rejects sack of 16 thousand medical doctors
The
Nigerian Medical Association has rejected the sack of resident doctors
by the Federal Govt which happened on Wednesday August 13th.
At
a press briefing today in Abuja, the president of the NMA, Dr Kayode
Obembe asked the federal government to withdraw its circular on the sack
of the resident doctors and also reverse the directive
"NMA demands immediate withdrawal of the suspension circular and unconditional reinstatement of the so-called sacked resident doctors. Government should show commitment on her part in resolving the current impasse with the NMA rather than resorting to punitive measures that will only further aggravate the already deplorable situation. NMA condemns in totality the alleged presidential directive via the Federal Ministry of Health suspending Residency Training Programme in Nigeria,” the NMA President added.
The NMA president also
stated that even if FG reinstates the resident doctors, they will still
not call off their strike, which is over a month now, adding that the
govt must meet its “24-point demand”.

Reasons why a real man would never cheat on someone he truly loves
Real men are emotionally stable.
We usually hear about women having trouble controlling their emotions. Truth be told, men are much worse. While women have the intelligence to share their feelings and discuss their problems (most of the time), men like to keep it bottled up. Until, of course, they can’t take it any longer and explode. When something goes wrong in a relationship, women may very well cry, they may complain, they may throw tantrums or give you the silent treatment, but men – weak men – pretend like they feel nothing. Once their cup flows over, they look for whatever release they can. They drink. They smoke. They f*ck. Unfortunately, since they aren’t on talking terms with their woman, they f*ck whatever they can find. Real men deal with their emotions appropriately.

BREAKING: Jonathan fires all resident doctors
This was contained in a directive by His Excellency to the Federal Ministry of Health to suspend all residency training programme for Nigerian doctors.
The directive was stated in an internal memo dated August 13 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, L.N. Awute, to federal hospitals.
Awute said the sack came following an appraisal of the challenges currently facing the health sector.
“Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR has suspended the Residency Training Programme for Doctors in Nigeria indefinitely for the purposes of appraising the challenges facing the health sector”. Mr. Awute said.
E-Daily Feed gathered that the development is not unconnected with the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease in the country and insistence of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, to go on with their strike despite the national health challenge.
An experimental Ebola drug developed by a Nigerian in the diaspora - Nanosilver - is set to arrive in Nigeria.
The vaccine, identified as “Nanosilver”, can now be used as a result of the approval by the World Health Organisation (WHO) that experimental treatments are ethical in the case of the Ebola pandemic.
The Nigerian federal government authorised the use of trial drugs for the affliction on Wednesday. The United States had sent ZMapp, another experimental drug, to Liberia on Wednesday, while Canada has decided to donate 1,000 vaccines to the affected countries.

17 Banned Films and What They Tell Us About the Power of Cinema
The mere idea of prohibiting a film from being seen speaks to the power
of the medium to address subjects ranging from politics and social
issues to religion. In many cases, governments and other authority
figures find certain cinematic voices threatening to their beliefs and
lifestyles. They would prefer to keep those images away from the public
consciousness rather than encouraging debate or promoting tolerance.
Recent examples of such practices are the cases of Iranian filmmakers
Jafar Panahi and Mohammad Rasoulof -- whose latest courageous works,
"Closed Curtain" and "Manuscripts Don’t Burn" -- have faced strong
government sanctions. Exposing the extreme oppression under which
artists must attempt to work, these films were seen as direct attack
against the regime. Both films were defiantly created in secrecy after
their directors were banned from making movies. Needless to say, while
prohibited in their homeland, both films are currently having a
theatrical run in the U.S.
