The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has established and furnished a Computer Based Test centre in Delta State, the Supervising Minister of Education, Mr Nyesom Wike, has said.
Wike stated this on Friday while inaugurating a new JAMB office complex in Asaba, Delta.
He said that the CBT comprised of three classrooms of 120 sitting capacity each, a server room and offices for members of staff.
He described the complex as a very proactive step and a phenomenal achievement in Delta, and commended JAMB officials for the project.
He urged JAMB to upgrade its offices outside its headquarters to CBT status to enable them discharge their services effectively.
Wike said that tax payers, parents and students would benefit from the centres, especially the people at the grassroots.
He urged the state governor, Mr Emmanuel Uduaghan, to provide at least one CBT centre in each local government area of the state.
Responding, the governor pledged that more than one CBT centre would be provided in each local government area of the state.
Represented by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, the governor said that Delta was the second to inaugurate a CBT JAMB office in the country.
He said beyond public schools, seven private schools with CBT centres were already in place each with 120 sitting capacity.

Dear EDF Reader: what are the top 5 reasons why women cheat?

More and more women are cheating on their partners these days...way more now than it used to be. In fact some men think women now cheat more than they do

Anyway, why do you think women cheat? What are the top 5 reasons? See some options below...
1. As payback to their men for cheating on them?
2. Lack of good sex from their men?
3. Because they feel emotionally neglected by their men?
4. To feel wanted, desired and appreciated?
5. Because they can?

What is it?

According to Cambridge online dictionary, an underdeveloped country is a country that is less developed economically than most others, with little industry and little money spent on education, health care, etc.
And according to the International Monetary Fund’s World Economic Outlook Report, April 2014 and World Bank data, Nigeria is among the 154 developing countries of the world. But what stands Nigeria apart from most other underdeveloped nations aside poor infrastructure is the infamous “Nigerian factor”.

5 Things Nigerian Women Do That Really Annoy Nigerian Men…. Do you Agree?

Couple In Love

Nigerian women too dey form. Yes, there are certain things men do that really bother women, but ladies, here’s what you people do that really annoys us:
  • 1. When you tell us what qualities you like in a man, but the men you date are entirely different than what you claim you want.
This is frustrating. Any woman will tell you what they want in a man. However, their response is usually bullshit. Instead, they tell you what is socially acceptable to want. So many women get involved with men who make them unhappy for various and obvious reasons.
For example, many women date men who

FIRE FOR FIRE: We will bring down Nigeria if Boko Haram kills any Igbo person – MASSOB

massob
The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has threatened to retaliate attacks targeted at Ibo citizens. MASSOB reacting to the bomb scare at Winners Chapel, in Imo state, stated that there will be mayhem if any bomb explodes and kills any Igbo person in any part of the South-East states. According to reports from Daily Sun, the leader of MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, handed down the warning yesterday in Owerri following the discovery of two bombs planted at the Living Faith Ministry (Winners Chapel) in Owerri, Imo State capital. Uwazuruike said that those who planted the bombs had in mind to kill Igbo who worshiped in the church en-masse. He lamented that after the Igbo had been killed in the North for no justifiable reason, they were now being pursued to their land, saying MASSOB would retaliate the killing of their people anywhere in the South-East by bomb attacks. He, therefore, urged President Goodluck Jonathan to provide adequate security in the South-East states to forestall any bombing of the Igbo, saying: “We will bring down Nigeria if our people are killed here with bombs.” Uwazuruike vowed that his group would unleash mayhem of unimaginable proportions if Ndigbo were bombed in their homeland. He disclosed that already MASSOB had mobilised its surveillance arm to help the police in detecting miscreants, who wanted to bring bombs into the South-East states with the purpose of exterminating the Igbo. He also urged Jonathan to advise the South-East governors to urgently rise to the occasion as his group would not hesitate to retaliate the killing of their people at home. “They were targeting our people in the North to kill them and we sent buses to bring our people back. Now, they have come to our domain to kill our people with bombs. “It is most unreasonable to kill innocent people with bombs. Therefore, if this attempt to exterminate our people with bombs in any part of Igboland succeeds, what we will do will be unimaginable; the level of our reaction will be catastrophic. In this regards, nobody will ascertain the level of our unreasonableness,” he said. The MASSOB leader, during the maiden Biafra Day celebration in Owerri on May 30, had warned that his group would shelve its non-violence posture to defend the Igbo, if they were killed in Igbo land. He said the resolve was not empty as they would surely make good the threat any day the Igbo were attacked and killed in their land. He urged the Nigerian authorities to fish out those who planted the Owerri bombs and mete out appropriate punishments to them while beefing up security to protect the lives and property of the people in the South-East states. Also, Uwazuruike urged Ndigbo to be extra-vigilant, saying MASSOB would defend them with the last drop of its blood.

2. Care Care and concern is the next thing that most of the men fail to display. They might be having high concern and regard for their partner but when it comes to expression, most of them fail.

3. Admiration for partner’s traits Only few men are in the habit of acknowledging and admiring their lady’s qualities and encouraging them. They are bitten by ‘male ego’ and find difficult to see beyond that.
