Germany captain Lahm retires from international football.

Lahm
Germany captain, Phillip Lahm have announced his retirement from international football. The captain of World Cup winning side has decided to bow out of the national team at just 30-years-old, presumably to end that chapter of his career on an unbeatable high. Lahm played 113 games for Germany, scoring five goals, one of which was the opening goal in the Germany 2006 World Cup. Aside from winning the 2014 World Cup, Lahm picked up a runners-up medal at the European Championships in 2008 and also two World Cup bronze medals, in 2006 and 2010.
