Students of the Lagos State University (LASU) yesterday Thursday
June 5th took their protest to the Lagos State Government House in
Alausa ,Ikeja, where they barricaded the main entrance with their buses
and remained there for hours. When they got hungry, they turned brought
out their big pots, ingredients, firewood, made a fire and prepared a
meal right there in front of the Government House gate. No time! Lol.
The students prepared beans and eat it with bread.
The students are protesting the recent hike in their school fees, and asking Lagos State governor to intervene on their behalf. They vowed to remain at the scene until they got a positive response from the governor. They were eventually forced to leave when no official spoke with them but vowed to return until their demands are met. See more photos after the cut...
