Ukraine's new president Petro Poroshenko is sworn in

 

Ukraine's new president, Petro Poroshenko, is being sworn in at a ceremony in the capital, Kiev.

Mr Poroshenko won an election held last month, and wants to enhance relations with the European Union.
He has promised to end the fighting between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian separatists in the east of the country.
